“When I was 18 and on my way to college I spent the summer before leaving the island I had grown up on selling t-shirts I had designed from the back of my car. I did a few designs, had them silk screened and, every day, I would drive down to where the ferry boat would spew out tourists and sell my wares. It helped with money for the summer and money for college.

This new piece is an updated version of one of the designs I had done all those years ago.”
